Sir Donald George Bradman was born on 27th August 1908 in New South Wales with three sisters and a brother when he was young he started to play cricket on his own using a cricket stump and golf ball behind his house with practice developed timing and made his first century at the age of 12 for Bowral Public school.

In 1920 under the captaincy of his uncle one man short in the team Bradman made the debut in the match scoring 39 and 27. In 1922 he left the school and went to work as a real estate agent when his owner encouraged him with cricket skills and helped him to practice whenever the time was needed.

From 1925-26 he became the regular player of the team when he went to play tennis, in the middle after smashing 320 runs in District competition gets a chance to play in grade cricket for Sydney.

Sir Donald George Bradman’s First-class cricket

At the age of 19, he made his first-class debut even though he was scoring runs regular he couldn’t get a place in the team as a sporting retailer of Mick Simmons he moved to Sydney played a match against the England team toured Australia with his brilliant 87* and 132* earned a place in the Australia test team match to be played in Brisbane. Don Bradman scored 28,067 runs at an average of 95.15, with the best score of 452* in a first-class career.

Test cricket

Against West Indies:

In 1930-31 five-match series against the mighty West Indians with the very strong bowling attack scoring 447 runs at an average of 74.50 with best of 223 in the 3rd test match when the opener fell in the first ball stood 230 run partnership for the second wicket.
Against South Africa:

In 1931-32 five-match test series against South Africa in Australia Bradman recorded 806 runs at an average of 201 with a best of 299* continually his runs come to flow

Against England:

63 test innings against England smashing 5028 runs at an average of 89.78 with 19 centuries hitting only 6 sixes in all innings it was like “Either you or me, let’s decide by fight” he made first triple century 334 runs against England in the 1930 Ashes, 309 runs came in one day which was the highest run-scorer in a day.

Major runs come in the Ashes tournament 1928-1948. Realizing Bradman will be a big threat to team England, find out the short ball weakness of him and apply the bodyline technique even though he struggled but couldn’t control the run-scoring of him.

Against India:

In 1947-48 when India toured Australia after Independence the last series at home for Bradman recording 715 runs in five-match series helping Australia to win the series 4-0 where India has played only ten test matches before the tournament the visitors has given nine practice matches against the host which aided India to draw the second test were other three won by Australia.

Sir Donald George Bradman’s averages 178 overall against India. Don Bradman’s batting standard over his career in Test matches against all nations was 99.94.
