Smriti Shriniwas Mandhana – Criss Cross Tamizh

Let’s time travel to the 18th of July, 1996. We are in Bombay (now Mumbai), Maharashtra. A girl has just been born who grew up and scored the most hundreds in a series of Women’s one-day internationals. Wondering who she is? Presenting to you, Smriti Shriniwas Mandhana, the opening batter. 

Smriti Mandhana was born as 'Smriti Shriniwas Mandhana' on 18 July 1996 (age 22 years; as in 2019) in Mumbai. Her zodiac sign is Cancer.

Her left-hand batting style along with her right-hand off-break bowling works wonders as an opener player role in the match. At the age of 25, she is a proud player as she has participated in various matches such as 

Western Storm, India Women, Maharashtra Women, Brisbane Heat Women, Sydney Thunder Women, India Green Women, Southern Brave (Women), Trailblazers. 

She did her debut in the ENG Women vs IND Women at Wormsley during August 13 – 16, 2014 in WTEST Matches. Her debut in WODI Matches is credited with IND Women vs Bdesh Wmn at Vadodara held on April 05, 2013. She did her classic debut in  WT20I Matches in IND Women vs Bdesh Wmn at Ahmedabad on April 10, 2013. Her records include the glory of scoring the highest partnership for the first wicket (167). She also scored the most runs in a series (911) and most hundreds in a series. Her zeal and enthusiasm in her latest matches have paved the way for her to be a part of the glorious Indian Women’s Team in the Women’s World Cup.
