Great Pyramid of Giza:

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest pyramid in the Giza Pyramid complex on the border of present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt.

One of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid of Giza is also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of chops still exists which is said to be the most ancient and largest pyramid in the Giza Pyramid complex, Egypt. 

This masterpiece was built around 2600 BC ( 4th dynasty) and Egyptologists believe that the pyramid was built like the tomb of the Egyptian pharaoh of the fourth dynasty Cheops, which an amazing took nearly 27 years to erect.

The Great Pyramid is deemed to be about 4600 years old by two important approaches

  • By the attribution to Khufu, through his chronological age, founded by archaeological and textual data 
  • Through radiocarbon dating of organic material found in the pyramid.

The pyramid of Giza is incarcerated by a complex of several buildings, including the small pyramids. One of the alluring elements that originated was the pyramid temple which stood on the east side of the pyramid has now completely disappeared.
