The PC-21 Extended Pouch Trainer has been developed by the Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft to meet the basic, advanced, and fighter training requirements of pilots and, when required, weapons systems officers (WSO).
Role of BAE system – Pilatus Aircraft
In May 2012, Saudi Arabia contracted BAE Systems to supply 55 BAE Systems Pilatus PC-21 and 22 Hawk advanced jet trainers to train pilots of Eurofighter Typhoon fighter JETS. IN JANUARY 2007, PILATUS RECEIVED AN ORDER for six PC-21 aircraft from the Swiss Air Force.
In December 2010, Pilatus received an additional CHF 30 million ($31.87 million) contract from the Swiss Air Force for the purchase of two PC-21 trainers.
What’s so special about Pilatus Aircraft?
The company primarily produces aircraft for niche markets, primarily short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft and military training aircraft. Pilatus Aircraft Ltd has made numerous improvements and options to the company’s best-selling aircraft since it entered service;
The introduction of new avionics, noise reduction measures, new propellers, increased speed and range, additional interior trim, and a new in-flight entertainment system.
Pilatus Ownership and consequences
In 2013, Pilatus Aircraft Co., Ltd. established a new overseas company, Pilatus Aircraft Industry (China) Co., Ltd., in Chongqing, China, to manufacture PC-6 and PC-12 aircraft; this new foreign organization is Pilatus Aircraft Industry (China) Co., Ltd.
A joint venture between TUS and Beijing Tianxing Jianyu Technology Co., Ltd. In 2014, the majority of PC-6 deliveries that year were to Chinese customers.
The PC-6 Porter’s successor, the PC-12, has been sold more than 1,650 times worldwide since 1994 and is the most popular single-engine turboprop on the market.
The registered owner of the N908PL and Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter is GG Aircraft LLC, a company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware and registered in the State of California. While some of the plaintiffs all live in Costa Rica, they are all U.S. citizens, where Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter and GG Aircraft LLC are located.
The surviving members of the Kells and Rutz family (“Kells/Rütz Quentiff”) and descendant property filed a second lawsuit naming the aircraft manufacturer, the aircraft’s turboprop, and GG Aircraft LLC as defendants they are bringing three wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits against aircraft manufacturers and P WC, and a fourth lawsuit AGAINST GG AIRCRAFT LLC.
THE FIRST WAS PROPOSED by the pilot’s surviving parents, Gund ownership and GG Aircraft LLC (“Gund Quentiff”) against the aircraft manufacturers, PILATUS AIRCRAFT, LTD. AND THEN THE PILATUS BUSINESS AIRCRAFT, LTD. (COLLECTIVELY referred to as “Pilatus”), and an aircraft turboprop engine, P WC and an aircraft turboprop engine, P WC. Gund’s PLAINTIFFS SETTLED WITH GG AIRCRAFT LLC AND Gund’s property, and all of the plaintiffs fired the aircraft manufacturers without prejudice. IN 1998, PILATUS AUSTRALIA PTY LTD WAS founded and Britten-Norman was sold.
