The match was delayed due to rain and the over was reduced to 29 overs. South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Openers failed to give a good start. Also, the middle-order batsman struggled against South Africa’s bowling attack. Bairstow 28(27), Livingston 38(26), and Sam Curran 35(18) helped England to put a total of 201/10
South African batsmen struggled against England’s left-hand pace bowlers.
The top batsman of South Africa did not even score double digits. Klaasen 33(40) is only the high scorer on the team. Adhil Rashid picked 3, and Topley and Ali picked 2 each to clinch the victory by 118 runs.

The two captains shared the trophy when the deciding match was called off due to rain.
